Shroom-balls and Snow-balls 2022 is a collection of ball ornaments that are design samplers for my 2022 mitten patterns. The pattern includes charts for 14 ornaments (not all possible designs are represented in the pictures).

Basking in the light of the moon, stands the majestic Temple of the Forest, where each and every tree is a sacred sanctuary offering protection and sustenance to wildlife of all kinds.

Sweater Weather Fingerless Mittens are a stranded colorwork design featuring cozy sweaters, corrugated ribbing, and a side gusset thumb. The design will work with either light on dark or dark on light as long as there is enough contrast in your colors. The left and right mittens are identical, so you can knit them two at a time.

About the pattern

I promised myself I was done knitting snowflakes this season, so this little guy popped up instead. And he doesn’t like being called a flake, even though he probably is, but don’t tell him that, he’ll start melting and will make a mess of himself.

This 5-point star ornament is a variation of my knitted Star Snowflake.
