The yarn that I made it with is no longer for sale, but this would work well with any self-striping fingering weight sock yarn.

These knit up very very quickly. I used next to the skin soft close out yarn from Elann that will wash.

The Elann Esprit (cotton elastic) works fantastically for head bands and head scarves. This is a very quick and easy pattern to knit for a little girl or a big one!
