Knitting: Cowl
Crochet: Collar
Change up any wardrobe with this dainty lace collar. I’ve always like the vintage look of the Peter Pan collar. It is definitely one of the most versatile pieces that keep coming back in Vogue. First making its appearance in 1905 and then appearing as a fad in nearly every decade since. This is my small contribution to this fashion fad for 2018...
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
The simple lace pattern and stretchy ribbing make a forgiving fabric. The sample was made to fit my small hand specs but even my husband tried them on and they fit! They were a little snug in the thumb, but this pattern can easily be altered to remedy that.
Crochet: Scarf
This pattern is dedicated to our shop, especially the Tuesday night group that helped me name this pattern. They enthusiastically support us and we all have created warm friendships. But there is always room for one more. A special thank you to Sibyl, who has been a dedicated member of the Yarn Barn staff for 41 years.
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
When I started this project I had a loose idea of what I wanted it to be. I picked the lace pattern that caught my attention and just started knitting. I let the yarn and the shape dictate the end result.
