Pen case inspired by Pen Case but with a bit more flair to accentuate variegated yarn and knit textures.

This pattern was developed in response to Gaye Glasspie’s call to action to Stand in the Gap. I welcome all feedback to improve the pattern.

Feel free to use this chart in any of your projects. It is loosely based on the “Stay at Home” sticker popular on Instagram. You can use it on personal items or make a banner for your window, like I did! The chart features bands on the left that indicate where I made color changes for the background.

This whale project is great for someone beginning to learn crochet. Pattern is worked flat and sewn together. Great companion project to the Intrepid Whale.

This whale is worked flat then seamed together. A great beginner project to learn increases, decreases, knit and purl. One size, but depending on your gauge and yarn your whale might be a bit bigger or smaller.
