Directions for adding a textured stitch pattern to any stockinette sock pattern which will assist in the pooling of your yarn.

The combination of stitches provides a spiral line advancing around the foot. This works well on solid colors or any variegated. The advancing ribbing breaks up pooling while adding texture.
Knitting: Cowl
Worked from the bottom up, using decreases to create an unusual design. A gradient or solid color will show off this design.

Textured shawlette constructed with an easily memorized pattern. The attached braided Icord makes can be used as a wrap to hold shawl in place or many other decorative choices. Let your imagination run wild! The size can be easily adjusted by changing the row count the row count.
