This design is a new sweater I knitted for the first day of school for my youngest daughter. I named this sweater Bjørt, which means “bright” because I hope my daughters future is bright.

Alda beanie. This beanie is inspired by big waves (aldur), we see each day here in Suðuroy, Faroe Islands.

The Lundar sweater pattern is inspired by the Puffins, we see here in the Faroes during the summer. It is such a fascinating and beautiful bird. Lundar is the Faroese word for Puffins.

The cardigan is worked from the top to the bottom and back and forth in stockinette sts, with a 6 sts cable pattern on each sleeve. A good idea is to transfer all your work to a couple of long circular needles and try it on to check how it fits when you have knitted the yoke. 1 strand of Puf and 2 strands of Kid Seta, are used for this cardigan...

This sweater is very airy and light, just like a Snowflake. The Faroese name Flykrur means snowflakes. It is knitted with double strands, one with single ply wool (Navia Uno) and one with brushed alpaca (Navia Alpaka).

Storm Romper with long sleeves and legs. This design is inspired by an old Faroese Stitch Pattern. The pattern has it’s name after my little nephew, Storm. Storm means the same in Faroese as in Danish or English language.

Bohéme Christmas Hat is inspired by the popular Bohéme sweaters. Of course, I had to design a Christmas Hat, because I love the Christmas season. How cute would it be to own a Sweater and a matching Christmas Hat?

Stjørnudust means Stardust. I designed this pattern for my little new nephew who lives in Denmark. My love for stars inspired me to make this pattern.

This cardigan is inspired by the Faroese sweaters, with two colour fair isle pattern in stripes, in one main colour and one contrast colour. I was inspired by our cold and long winters in the Faroe Islands, when I designed the pattern for this cardigan. The name Frost is an international word as well as a Faroese word.

This two colour stranded pattern is inspired by the North Atlantic Puffin’s Beaks.

This is the Bohéme pattern for babies from size 6 to 24 months, knitted in a thinner yarn than the pattern for kids and adults.

This Bohéme Beanie has the same pattern as the Bohéme Sweater for kids and adults.

This Hipster Sweater Dress is a very quick and easy knit. If you are new to colours and lace this is a very good project to knit. The pattern is both charted and written.

This sweater has its name Akraberg which is a very beautiful sightseeing spot in Suðuroy in the Faroe Islands.

Basic info

This yoke sweater is knitted in the round, from bottom up with seamless sleeves. This has an Icelandic style yoke, but with only two colours, as in the original style patterns. It is inspired by a traditional over hundred years old Faroese stranded pattern, which has been altered a little.
