CosmoComposure asked me to design a detail to give the back of her dress some interest. This is a gorgeous dress all on its own, but here is an option for any of you that would like to add a different design element to the back of your dress.

This is a simple basketweave cowl. I wrote this pattern for my Knitting 101 class. It is designed so that people learning to knit would be able to get comfortable working with both the knit stitch and the purl stitch. I included a chart, not that it was needed, but so that people could get used to seeing a chart.

I made this hat for my daughter when she was about 18 months old. She’s almost 5 and can still wear it because it has a decent amount of stretch in it and their heads don’t really grow that much during that time.

I made a shell ripple blanket for my niece and decided to design a hat to go with it. I’ve had so many people ask for the pattern that I decided to write one out.
