I was crocheting around stones when my little nephew came to visit. He was very interested in what I was doing and asked, “Why are the stones wearing clothes”. I found this so funny that I decided to call my stones ‘Crochet Clothed Stones’ rather than ‘Crochet Covered Stones’.

For such a long time I have admired knitted blankets made with the domino knitting method. I’m not a big knitter so I decided to stop envying knitters of their blankets and just make my own crochet version. The outcome is this pattern.
