The Queen Anne’s Lace Socks were inspired by one of my favorite Summer flowers, a delicate flower full of tiny white blooms that form an umbrella or cup shape. You can find them on the roadsides, along hiking paths, or in the margins of the fields, cheerfully bobbing in the wind.

One of my favorite pieces of Spring is when the evergreens in our little forest start to send out new brilliant green tips. These little tips, when harvested responsibly from a large area are beautiful in teas and pastas, as well as making a lovely pickle!! (Always check with an expert before consuming anything you find in nature!!).

The Tadhg Socks are the first piece in a collection of designs inspired by a story and film that hold a very special place in my heart, The Secret of Ron Mor Skerry, or The Secret of Roan Innish. Its a beautiful folktale set on the Irish coast in the early 1940s, which tells the tale of the Selkie lore as modern myth.
