A slouch style hat. Head band is knit flat and joined. Stitches are picked up along one edge of the band to knit the body in the round using a simple stranded colorwork pattern. Embroidery stitches are added with colors of your choosing and an optional tassel finishes off the top.

This textured cowl is knit in the round. You may use any weight or type of yarn that will show off the texture. Just be aware of the quantity of yarn you will need. The cowl may also be made narrower or wider depending on how many repeats you complete.

The hat alone can be made with just one skein of yarn but the pom-pom and flower will require a second skein.
