Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks have changes in parentheses for men’s and child’s sizes. They are worked in worsted weight from the toe up.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These are made on double point needles. They have ribbing on the cuff, the top of the thumb gusset, and the base of the fingers.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks are great for bed socks or as slippers when you add some dots of fabric paint to the bottoms. They are made with worsted weight yarn.

These socks are great bed socks, but if you add dots of fabric paint to the bottom, they make terrific slippers as well.

This is my basic, one colored sock pattern. As you get used to the pattern, you can add color to the sock and add contrasting colored heals and toes. This is a “cuff down” pattern with a basic short row heel.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These are designed for worsted weight yarn. They are great for using up stash yarn. I use size 5 double point needles and RedHeart Soft yarn. One skein of each color or as much stash yarn as you need to do the stripes.
