The shawl is designed to be knit from one 420m (455y) ball of fingering yarn. It is triangular, knit from the middle of the long side, and beginning with a garter tab construction.
The cardigan is knitted bottom-up, fronts and back in one piece, then the collar is made on the body part by picking up stitches. Sleeves are knitted separately and sewn in. Width given refers to the back since the fronts overlap.
