this is an easy first project. knit flat with long tails for seaming, it introduces the first-time knitter to garter stitch, yarn-over, k2tog, with a satisfying not-quite-instant gratification factor, as even for a beginner, it knits up quite quickly.

i developed this quick moebius for myself, and love it so much i thought i’d share it.

i used 3 skeins of the muench big baby, totalling about 150 yards. if your yarn is stretchier, you may not need as much.
