Crochet: Beanie, Toque
A reworking of my pattern Brumal, for a better fit and different styled brim.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
A quick and simple beanie in a bulky yarn means you have a hat that works up in no time. Done in shepherd knitting/slip stitch crochet, it creates a warm fabric without the density of standard crochet.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
Learn some basics of Shepherd Knitting, also known as Slip Stitch Crochet, by making a comfortable and squishy hat. This technique gives a drape and feel usually difficult to obtain with standard crochet.
Crochet: Scarf
An entrelac scarf that, when worked in this color change, looks reminiscent of the Flaming Gorge Reservoir here in Wyoming.
Crochet: Cowl
Pattern is worked entirely in slip stitch crochet, and assumes one is familiar with technique and stitches. I use the terminology established by David Burchall, and I have used a cast on method by Bendy Carter.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
I love the look of horseshoe cables, and really wanted to incorporate them into a fingerless mitten. These came out slouchy and comfy, and will fit an average hand. I used half double crochet to make the cables a little tighter and shorter.
Crochet: Slippers
Mornings are starting to get cool already, and living in Wyoming you know that winter comes quickly! Whip up a pair for your little one’s feet in a matter of an hour or two, and keep those little piggies toasty!
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
A stylish slouchy hat that works up quickly! Make it more unisex by leaving out the row of puff stitches.
Crochet: Washcloth / Dishcloth
A basic washcloth to get you familiar with two stitches of slip stitch crochet: front loop only(flo) and inverse back(iB).
