One of the students in my weekly knitting class, Cathy S, came up with the idea of a bright green Brat Hat (thanks Charli XCX) with , la embroidered on it. A nice accessory for the supporters of Kamala Harris for President to wear leading up to the 2024 election.

Inspired by The Fibre Co. Almanac Series III “look to the seas” ocean theme. The Ripples & Waves Marlisle Hats are knit using the Marlisle technique popularized by Anna Maltz. Constructed brim to crown alternating between one and two strands of the oh-so-soft and luxurious Amble fingering-weight yarn for the color work.
