The final pattern in my Celtic Honey series! Just as the hats have unusual decreases, these mitts have unusual increases, creating a seamless wedge of honeycomb stitch between the Celtic knots instead of a traditional gusset.

This pattern represents some of my favorite aspects of design that I’ve incorporated this year: twisted ribbing, Celtic knots, and crossed stitches. What can I say--I’m a creature of habit.

It’s November, and soon all the leaves will be gone. But buds on twigs and seeds under the ground stay alive through the winter, ready to germinate in the spring.

Weave and Comb is the final and most detailed hat in the Celtic Honey series. Knit in DK yarn, it features an intricate Celtic knot pattern with panels of honeycomb stitch.

A twisted cable pattern made out of twisted stitches: a meta twist!

Cloud-to-cloud lightning often comes at the beginning of a big thunderstorm. This inspired me to create fingerless gloves with a lightning bolt that jumps from cuff to cuff.

This pattern is designed to show off colorful hand-painted fingering-weight yarn: garter stitch makes everything look good, while a slanted panel of seed stitch adds texture and interest.
