Knitting: Mittens
These are mittens intended for a child age 6-8. I’ve only provided a chart at this time. The colors were chosen by my daughter, who indicated she wanted mittens with hearts, flowers and snowflakes on them. I cast on 50 stitches, did corrugated ribbing for the cuffs, and then increased to get a total of 68 stitches.
Knitting: Costume
A toddler’s bee costume, knit quickly in a large gauge that can be substituted stitch for stitch by centimeter to make larger or smaller sizes. Enjoy.

A cotton shrug to fit over my daughter’s cast and bare arm, in lieu of long sleeve shirts and jammies. Elasticized cotton holds its shape and is super stretchy.

This shrug was designed to cover my daughter’s cast and arm, since she couldn’t wear long-sleeved shirts or jammies in chilly weather. It also kept her sling from slipping. The ribbing allows for a range of fits, including the difference between her two arms.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
This blanket is knit in the round with a stockinette and basket-weave center, and an applied garter stitch border, which minimizes binding off and requires no sewing. It was originally a stash busting project--Caron Simply Soft will be around forever--requiring roughly 3 skeins.
