Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
I was inspired to create this design after binge watching all seasons of Downton Abbey. The beautiful clothes are a highlight of the show and I wanted something reminiscent of that era in my design. Hopefully I’ve captured that! They are named for the Lady Rose MacClare whose clothes were my favorite out of all the ladies.

I wanted a lightweight cowl knit in a lace yarn with simple details. I found many lacy and stockinette versions, but none that appealed to me. So I designed this cowl. A little bit easy stockinette, and a little bit pretty slipped stitch detailing.
