Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks are inspired by the vintage neon lights outside of movie theaters. I thought that the art deco style tall and elegant lights of a movie palace would make a lovely sock.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These were knit for my Mom and combine all of her favorite things about fingerless gloves into one pair. They are the perfect length, not to long or too short, they are light but warm, and they are not to tight but snug enough to stay up. They can be knit with sock leftovers and would be lovely in many different color combos.
Knitting: Cloche Hat
This is a delicate and feminine hat with a sweet scallop at the brim to give it that flapper styling. It is knit using a simple lace design and the scallop brim is fully described in the pattern.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Snoqualmie Socks are made from the cuff down and are wonderfully rhythmic and fun to knit. With dropped stitches and an undulated wave like pattern on the front and back, the colors of variegated yarns are broken up nicely. It is also stylish enough to liven up a solid sock yarn.
