Knitting: Cowl
This beautiful Lace Pattern is easy to memorize and makes a lovely scallop at the bottom. To make a double-length cowl, just cast on twice the number of stitches and skip the ribbed section at the top. Then you can wear it doubled.

Using self-striping sock yarn, work up these adorable Hippie Baby Pants with less than a full 100 gm skein of sock yarn. Knit the legs first, then join them into the round, while keeping the stripes intact, or let them go random! Babies in these pants are sweet and adorable and they also make a great keepsake after the baby grows up.

This pattern was written by me to duplicate a hand knitted slipper brought into my local yarn shop. Hope you like it and I would like to hear from anyone with comments or suggestions. Gauge information given above is for worsted weight yarn. If you use another size of yarn or needles, the stitches/rows per inch will vary.

A quick and easy first Brioche project. Easiest to learn because of the two colors and working in the round. Be sure to park your yarn when you reach the end of row marker and watch carefully and you will soon be a brioche pro. Plus warm and cozy with a reversible cowl!

This “Mink” stole is just fabulous and quick to knit, and you can make it any color at all! Combine any thin furry yarn with a regular chunky yarn, and knit on size 13s. The tabs & pass-through section make it stay on! Of course, it can be made without the “fur”. The ribs make it super-stretchy and extravagant looking.

This easy shoulder shrug goes round and round. No need to cut the yarns if you are not easily annoyed, just twist them together on each pass by “go”. Check out this all size Unisex hat pattern; it is shaped on top and not gathered like most, so there is not all that extra bulk. Also looks like rib knit and is nice & stretchy. Looks good with or without a pompom. Fun to make.

This is the easiest and smartest looking felted bag I have ever made. Just cast on 48 or 56 with your big needles, then go round and round in a simple rib design. Sew the bottom then felt minimally. Add any handles and you are READY TO ROVE.
