Crochet: Cowl
Inspired by the beautiful gradient colors of this yarn the Gradient Cowl is designed with a simple, yet feminine repeating pattern to show off the changing colors. This cowl’s design would also look lovely in a solid or variegated colorway.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves, Beanie, Toque
Originally designed for a mystery kit for my LYS, this sweet hat and mitt set is now available for everyone!
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
Named after my favorite tree, this shawl’s edging is designed to mimic the movement of birch leaves in a breeze. This Birch Leaves shawl is worked from one point with the edging added on as you go. This construction gives an asymmetrical shape that makes it easy to wrap around the neck.
Crochet: Cowl
Every yarn lover has one skein of yarn in their stash that they couldn’t pass up, so I decided to design a scarf that uses up just one skein of sumptuous yarn. This scarf is worked width-wise and the ends are slipped stitched together so there is no seaming. Long enough to be worn as a scarf or be doubled and worn like a cowl.
Crochet: Scarf
This scarf is designed to mimic the knit linen stitch, with the perk that it’s double sided and is a lot quicker to work up. It is worked lengthwise with fringe added at the end if desired. Variegated yarn is recommended, but solid colors can be used to created an alternating pattern of stripes.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
My brother is constantly asking for something hand knit so I wanted something that could still be masculine, but not too plain or boring. This beanie is simple yet has a little interest with the illusion of color work created by slipped stitches where only one color is used per row. With a little change in color it can even be knit up for anyone.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The Seafarer is a small shawl that is designed to take advantage of my favorite lace pattern in a modern way. It is worked sideways so the size is easily customizable to fit every person’s tastes. Variegated sock yarn is suggested to take advantage of the slipped stitches in the body of the shawl.
