Knitting: Mid-calf Socks

Nearly a plain jersey sock knitted toe-up. Just three triangles on each sock, each triangle is textured in a different way. The gusset gives more ease and the heel is shaped with short rows.

Looking at a map from Montreal inspires me to this sock pattern. The streets look like perfectly parallel to each other, like lines. The streets are perpendicular, which looks like squares on the map of the town center.

When kitten are so tiny, often the balls are too big or not easy enough to get. This one has the right size to be caught and retrieved. With the long lead, you can make your kitten run and jumped to get it and having your hands save at the other end of the lead.

A friend of mine, Sylvie Damey, a french crochet designer, had the idea of a creative challenge on Instagram. She drew a house for the weekly challenge in April. I had the idea to make a dishcloth with this house.

The inspiration for this set came when I preparing my stall for the Lot et laine, a wool festival in the south of France. As we did camping, I needed something small and lightweight to take with me, which I could use on a table or on the lawn.

Die Idee zu diesem Schal ist entstanden als ich mein Modell Summer Rain mit einem selbstgesponnen Garn stricken wollte. Da es mir schwer fällt ein Modell mehrmals zu stricken, habe ich die Bordüre verändert, damit diese noch luftiger wirkt.

This Kerchief starts at top of the triangle. It has a garter border all around. There are two buttonholes on one side of the upper border and a button on the other side to tie it. You can also wear it around your neck.
