Crochet: Tablecloth
Pattern for a round crochet motif (4.5 inch diam.) with included joining motif pattern, using size 10 (bedspread weight) crochet thread. Allow 27 yds thread for one motif plus one joining motif. These motifs are designed for a tablecloth, but may also be used for a dresser scarf, chair-back protector or other small decorative item.

Crochet: Tablecloth
This is a delicate motif useful for a table-cloth, a dresser scarf, or even a personal scarf. It can be made with either fine thread (size 20) or bedspread weight thread (size 10). Hook size and estimated yardages are given for each option of thread.

Crochet: Wall Hanging
The original piece was crocheted to cover and beautify a metal-rimmed asbestos hot-dish protector. Asbestos has fallen out of favor, but these patterns make great decorative wall hangings when mounted on cardboard covered with colored craft paper or felt.

Crochet: Decorative - Other
This crochet heart holds a fabric fiber-filled cushion (pattern included), and is decorated by 1/4-inch wide satin ribbon that weaves through the crochet edge and handle.Matching or contrasting colors may be chosen, giving a wide range of possible color combinations.

Crochet: Bonnet
Using a “soft hand” thread is a “must” for this bonnet, or the finished item will be much too stiff and the size will be “off.” I originally used “Baumwolle” by Manuella, however this thread is no longer available. DMC “Cebelia” also works, as does Caron “Grandma’s Best.“ Size 20 thread yields a newborn to 3 month size.

Crochet: Doily
Large-size doily / table topper with central medallion design surrounded by graceful clusters of leaves. The finished size will depend on the hook size selected. The 21” diam. doily requires 500 yd. size 10 cotton crochet thread, and the 25” diam. doily requires 800 yd. size 10 cotton crochet thread.
