Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern uses 4 colors of DK or worsted weight yarn to make a cozy, slightly slouchy beanie. It starts with a corrugated rib brim, and colorwork throughout the body of the hat. There are tiny cables in the trees to add a little texture, which are totally optional. The quick decrease creates a little bit of gathering at the top which I think...
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These DK weight socks are perfect boot socks for winter! The ribbing makes them stretchy enough to fit a wide variety of feet, and the heel is reinforced on the bottom to prevent holes.
Knitting: Earwarmers
This ear warmer is a great way to use up leftover yarn, and it keeps the ears toasty! The braided cable adds volume to the fabric, and the i-cord edging gives it a nice shape to stay against your head and cup your ears.
