She is finally here! Forever Eileen. The blanket that I will forever be most proud of as it is a blend of my Grannie and I.

My friend Katie from The Handcrafted Collective, love my Fan Whirl scarf/cowl and asked me if I could make a blanket in the same design for her new baby. Of course I jumped at the privilege! I loved making the Fan Whirl and was eager to have a reason to turn it into a square so that it became more versatile. So now you have my fan Square.

Valentines Day is coming up and I felt the need to design a heart! This heart can be used as a coaster, can be stuck to a card or appliqued or even used as a bunting.

I am super proud of this pattern! This was my third design for the crate crochet subscription box. Two patterns are included - a hat and a bag! And these patterns introduce my FLOWER STITCH which is a stitch i designed myself - one where you work the flower as part of the row! No more needing to make them separately and stitch them on afterwards.

Who can ever go past a Scheepjes Whirl? I know I love them and as I had one sitting around I decided to try create a new cowl from one! After creating the winter warmers for the crate crochet box I decided to create a version for “him” too! This pattern has a hot water bottle cover and wrist warmers included. The pattern could quite easily be a version for “her” too if you switch to “girly” colours.

Pattern contains instructions for a hot water bottle cover and wrist warmers. Made with Heirloom cotton but can be made with any yarn needing a 4mm hook.

This is a really quick and easy pattern that you’ll have fun making! Suitable in any colour and adds a splash of colour where ever you use it. The meters used was simple guess work - I have no idea how much I used for each one (sorry!), but you won’t need much. This can be a perfect way to use up small amounts of stash you have left.
