Knitting: Scarf
This scarf was designed with different weights of yarn in mind. I want the knitter to choose their own yarn and needles. This lace yarn one is so very delicate and light. But, oh, feels so soft!
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a basic “recipe” for a top-down knitted hat.
Knitting: Legwarmers
I wanted to create a leg warmer using cables and this is what I came up with.
Knitting: Cape
This top-down cape is sized for adults Small/Medium and also Large/X-Large. It features a I-cord at the neckline to help keep it in place and because I like using them! There is also an I-Cord at the hand slits.
Knitting: Cape
This cape came about because a SIL was complaining about the lack of proper coverings in her size. So, I designed this one for her.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I really like using this yarn and all the different color ways it come in. I first saw the trellis design and thought that it would go great with this yarn. So, I worked it out and this is what I came up with!
Knitting: Poncho
If you are looking for a mindless pattern this one is it! Once you have a good understanding of the increases you do not need to carry the pattern around with you. It is extremely easy to memorize!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I wanted to create something useful and neat and a bit different using yarn from my stash with the long color stripes. This is what I came up with. But to fancy it just a bit, I put a lace edging on it. A simple one (1) row lace pattern! If a person is really adventurous they can use their own lace pattern. Or leave it off if you are making thi...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This Shawl/Wrap came about because I wanted to learn more about Orenburg lace. I had knitted a couple of scarfs and wanted to expand on that. So I pulled out some charts, did some rearranging, etc., to hopefully get the look I wanted. And this is what I came up with.
Knitting: Pullover
This beauty came about because hubby liked the yarn. Then he picked the center cable. I picked the outer cable of Xs and Os for love! Because he is my hubby!
Knitting: Poncho
I had a request to design a Hooded Poncho with a Hood and buttoned on the sides. This is what I made and she fell in love!
Knitting: Cape
This Short Ruffled Cape came about after seeing a shawl using the same ruffle technique, but with my own spin!
Knitting: Cardigan
This cardigan was inspired by the one worn by Francis Reagan on Blue Bloods. I really like the way it looks and wanted to create something that was close but with my own twist.
Knitting: Vest
This is a basic vest pattern with a shaped hood. There is no “point” at the top of the head, which to me looks so much better. This is achieved by simple decreases.
Knitting: Vest
I wanted a vest with no side seams, front band knitted at the same time as the body and all in one piece. This is what I came up with. I also wanted to use up some of the worsted weight yarn hiding in my stash!
Knitting: Child Doll (American Girl, Sasha, etc)
I wanted a little spring top, but I also wanted to keep it fairly simple so if folks wanted to embroider a flower, etc., on it they would be able to.
Knitting: Child Doll (American Girl, Sasha, etc)
Once again I wanted to give several choices. This can be a skirt, a cape, or a capelet! You get to choose which one or make all three!
Knitting: Pillow / Cushion, Scarf
I realize the yarn used is rather vague, but I was going more for designing the cable design than a completed garment/pillow. I just happened to use the design to make a scarf and a pillow!
Knitting: Scarf
I wanted to create another shawl collared scarf but wanted one that fits just a bit different. So I came up with using a wedge as a starting point in the back and then added the fronts from there.
Knitting: Scarf
I wanted to expand on my previous scarf that was more than a scarf. I wanted it to keep your shoulders and neck warm, but without all the extra fabric some scarfs end up with. I also wanted a garment that folks in wheel chairs could wear and it would stay on their shoulders easily. And I wanted it to be versatile enough the younger folks would ...
Knitting: Scarf
I wanted to create a scarf that was more than a scarf. Something to keep your shoulders and neck warm, but without all the extra fabric of some scarfs. I also wanted a garment that folks in wheel chairs could wear and it would stay on their shoulders easily. And I wanted it to be versatile enough younger folks would love it for wearing with the...
Knitting: Child Doll (American Girl, Sasha, etc)
Pull out your left over baby yarn! These dresses work up delightfully with those yarns. Or use the self-patterning yarns. They all look fantastic!
Knitting: Child Doll (American Girl, Sasha, etc)
I had fun with this one and so will you. You have three different top styles to choose from. Two different skirt lengths, and two ways to do the underskirt.
Knitting: Child Doll (American Girl, Sasha, etc)
This bath robe is based on an adult one I saw many years ago that was pleated. Just had to see if I could create one for the AGD!
Knitting: Child Doll (American Girl, Sasha, etc)
I really like Herrschners 2-ply Afghan Yarn and I also like design AGD Clothes, so this is a match made in Heaven for me! There is a tremendous color palette available, so have fun!
Knitting: Poncho
While there is only one size, this is suitable for folks from Size 12 up to XXL and will still look good on them and be comfortable and warm.
Knitting: Neck / Torso - Other
This is a very basic dickey pattern. Nothing fancy and a very quick knit.
Knitting: Child Doll (American Girl, Sasha, etc)
This jacket was originally made for a niece living in England. So many folks saw it and wanted it so now I have finally finished the pattern.
Knitting: Child Doll (American Girl, Sasha, etc)
This is just a very simple top down, raglan jacket for the American Girl Doll. I was given some of the Baby Bee Lambkins Baby Boucle and a request for a doll pattern. This is what I came up with.
Knitting: Poncho
I created this pattern with several requirements in mind. I wanted it in different weights of yarn, but the exact same pattern. I wanted to be able to use either a 3 weight yarn or a worsted weight yarn.
Knitting: Cape
I wanted to create something that could be used in the smaller size for young girls for the Confirmation, or similar events. Or even a wrap for Prom, etc.
Knitting: Scarf
There has been quite an influx of yarn with long color changes and not a lot of patterns available. A friend asked me to come up with a scarf pattern for the yarn and this is what I ended up with.
Knitting: Child Doll (American Girl, Sasha, etc)
This garment came about in an unusual way. I have also designed a similar cape for teenagers and adults. The kind lady who is test knitting it for me said I needed to change some of the wording to be better understood. So, I did, and then needed to “test” it myself before turning it back over to the test knitter. And ended up with a lovely cape...
Knitting: Poncho
I was looking for something to wear that would not be bulky, but would keep me warm. Something that looked good and of course had cables. Researched different cable designs and found two that to me were compatible.
Knitting: Poncho
I originally published this pattern many years ago. Recently was going through my older patterns and thought to rework this one. Good thing I did! A few errors that were obvious in hind sight! Plus the original did not have a button band, so added that also.
