This is a crescent shaped shawlette knit from a short edge and expanding to the side. It incorporates garter stitch with regular purls stitches on the wrong side to create a pattern of lines. The pattern is easy to memorize once you get past the first few repeats. It is adaptable to any weight yarn – just adjust the number of repeats.
