You will need to know a few crochet stitches for the buttonhole top. It calls for chaining, double crochet, and slip stitches.

For this pattern I used fingering weight craft thread with a WPI of 22. I used a size B (2.25mm) hook with it.

I use 3 colors; yellow for the center, green for the outer ring, and purple/pink/blue/white for the petals. You can use all 1 color if you want to, but you will still need to finish off between steps.

This makes a bag that measures approximately 12” tall (23” tall including the straps) and about 17” in circumference.
