Traditionally, a Chilote Hat was woven from handspun wool in a very rough form. It was mainly worn off the coast of Chile in the Chiloe’ Archipelago. The colors were usually very neutral and the caps were adorned with an acorn (pom pom) at the top.

This is an easy cloth pattern that is different on the front and the back. Lots of interest using knit and purl stitches.

This pattern is for a simple and quick washcloth. Two strands of worsted weight cotton/cotton blend yarns are held together throughout (resulting in aran weight). It works up fast and can be personalized to make smaller or a larger washcloth.
