The women’s freedom movement in Iran deserves our support— as women, knitters, and fellow human beings. Their fight must not be forgotten. Increased global attention has led to a reduction in many death sentences, and by continuing to watch and speak out, we can help sustain this momentum. If women aren’t free, then no one is truly free.
