I made these leg warmers a few years ago for a good friend of mine, and they’re a really simple, quick project, great for a bad weathered weekend. You can use any striping pattern you want (not just the one I used), or you can forgo stripes completely and make them monochrome. Feel free to make them your own!

I made this with some unlabeled yarn I was given, so I have zero information on it other than the gauge from my own measurements. I believe it is some kind of 2-ply wool blend, and it is self-striping through both.

This is an easy pattern I thought up, inspired by a project a lot of women at my LYS have been working on. We have a ton of sock yarn in the shop, so I thought I would put some to good use by finding an alternative use for it.

A few months ago, my friend Erin showed me a really great cabled cowl/shrug she had bought from a local shop. I loved it so much that I decided to recreate it my own way from the photo she had taken of it. This is the result of that endeavor, and it’s great on a cool day.

This pattern is based on a cowl my friend has that I love. My pattern for Erin’s Cabled Cowl was my first attempt at replicating it, but this one is much closer to the original.
