This cowl was designed using Sheepy Time Knits Sheepy Feet in the Brick Street colorway, which is available exclusively at Village Yarn Company in Zionsville, IN. The shop is located on Main Street, which is paved with red bricks and inspired both the colorway and the pattern.

I’ve knit what feels like a million pairs of fingerless mitts, and there are always things I like about a certain pattern, and things I don’t like. So I took all the elements I do like from the fingerless mitts I’ve made and mashed them up into one pattern to create a pair of mitts that I both love to knit and love to wear.

This is a quick and easy ribbed headband/earwarmer. The size is easily adjustable by casting on more or fewer stitches - just make sure you cast on an even number - and then repeat the pattern row until your headband is the desired length.
