Blanket takes about 3 skeins of yarn and owls only take less than a skein of yarn. Gauge is not need for the blanket or owls. Hooks needed for this pattern are I and G. This pattern includes stiches of dc(double crochet), sc(single crochet), and Ch(chain). It’s a very simple pattern that works up really quickly. I make this blanket alot for friends and family who are having babies.
