We’ve had lots of snow squalls in Vermont this year, it inspired me to knit a snowy hat to keep me warm on the blustery days!

I created this pattern to showcase our new two-ply fingering weight yarn, fresh from the mill. It is 100% Shetland wool from our woolly wonders, who are lovingly raised for their soft, colorful yarn on our farm in Vermont. I hope you enjoy knitting this pattern and working with our wool!

The hat and cowl came about because Bob wanted a new project to knit and after sifting through patterns online, he found texture he liked and wanted a basic cowl and hat. So, we worked together on the project and the Methodical Hat & Cowl were born!
