The samples for this pattern were made with Hobby Lobby’s acrylic yarn called, I Love This Yarn. Using a 4.5 mm hook, the finished flowers measure 2 1/4” across. The pattern can easily be made using whatever weight of yarn or thread you like adjusting your hook as needed.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
This is a variation of my Curlicue Daisy pattern. If you have any difficulty with this flower, please refer to my Curlicue Daisy pattern as it is loaded with pics to help you along. Both flowers have similar construction techniques.

The 6 Petal Flower can be made with one or two colours. Although I have made it using worsted weight yarn you can use any weight you like along with the appropriate sized hook.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
Using worsted weight yarn the Curlicue Daisy measures 2 1/2” across. There is no reason you couldn’t experiment with heavier or lighter yarns, adjusting your hook size as needed.
