Glacier Ice Shawl is a semi-circle shawl worked top down in one piece. Body starts with garter-tab cast on (step-by-step tutorial is given in the pattern). First you work the body in Stockinette stitch in stripes. Then you work the lace edging side-to-side and join it to the body at the same time.

Sweet Flowers shawl is an asymmetrical shawl knitted side-to-side with top worked in short rows. Lace edging is worked simultaneously with the body and then joined to the body on the top.

This is a classic triangular shawl that is worked top down in one piece.
