Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This beautiful rectangular wrap, knit using the entrelac technique, is especially effective when knit in a self striping yarn such as Noro Silk Garden or Kureyon. The ends of the shawl are formed by the first and last rows of squares rather then the more traditional straight edge found in many entrelac pieces, with a cut and tied fringe.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
I designed these to wear to the opening of the final two Harry Potter Movies. The gauntlets feature a pointed “tail” at the wrist, a dragon scale pattern on the back of the hand and several bobbles representing the dragon eggs around the wrist.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Nothing is as feminine nor as warm on a cool night as a shawl. This cozy mohair shawl was originally designed by my Mother, Ruth Humphreys (1932-2013) several years back. When I wear it, it is like getting a hug from my Mom.
Knitting: Scarf, Shawl / Wrap
This Pattern creates either a straight wrap or a taperered scarf that is knit side to side. It is knit in alternating sections of Laceweight and Wide Ribbon yarns, with the ribbon forming a fringe.
