Knitting: Ankle Sock
This is a pair of socks with pixie toes designed to match the Little Acorns Sweater. They are made Toe-up, Two-at-a-time, on a long circular needle, but can be adapted to DPs. The socks have an Afterthought-Heel or an optional short row heel.

Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat matches the Christmas Candy Mitts. There are no instructions in the pattern, charts only. The pattern is repeated five times, working in the round. The pattern has two charts, one for peppermint and one for spearmint. Just choose your colour, cast on, knit a K1, P1, ribbing for about 2-ins and follow the chart.

These are made like traditional Norwegian mitts, with a ribbed cuff and a gusseted thumb. The left hand is peppermint and the right hand is spearmint. The pattern PDF is the charts only, (no other instruction is given) some experience with stranded colour work mittens is helpful.

I have always thought that norwegian selbu look a bit like church windows, This was the inspiration for these mittens. They are made like traditional norwegian selbu with a ribbed cuff and gusseted thumb.

The shawl was designed as a baby blanket and because of the slightly ruffled outer edge when you wrap baby in it you get a beautiful ring of acorns and leaves around the baby’s face. It also makes the shawl a nice cape-let for an adult.
