This mitts are currently only available as part of a kit from Colorista Yarns! They come with the yarn, pattern, custom dyed embroidery thread, a needle threader, and wash away stabilizer with the pre-printed botanical design already printed on them, ready for stitching.
Knitting: Cowl
This is a quick and satisfying knit that is perfect for a buttery-soft yarn. The cowl is funnel-shaped, meaning it’s wider at the bottom than the top, and falls perfectly every time- no pulling to try to arrange the cowl to sit nicely, and no fussing with it. It also looks good with probably every jacket you own, and is perfect for spring and s...

Underneath it All is a lightweight camisole that is ideal as a summer top, or as a pretty camisole for lounging around or sleeping in. Pair with a cardigan to extend wearing it into the fall and colder temperatures!
Knitting: Mittens
These mitts will keep your hand cozy while also keeping Kleenex® tissues close at hand! The slit in one mitten is the perfect spot for a small packet to sit on top of your hand, but inside the mitten. If you are left handed, make the pouch mitten to fit your right hand. If you are right handed, make the pouch mitten for your left hand. Directio...
Knitting: Cowl
Perfect for people who love cables and cowls! Hyperballad has two sizes, a smaller one for wearing inside a coat to keep your neck toasty warm, and a bigger, more dramatic version that you can wear from fall through to spring. Instructions for both sizes are included in the pattern.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque, Fingerless Gloves
This pattern was designed exclusively for the TFA Year In Colour Club, March 2014, featuring the custom colour ‘Fiesta’ in Tanis Fiber Arts Cosmic Blue Label Fingering Weight yarn. Now it is available for individual purchase, with a tweak on the thumb gusset for the right mitt.
Knitting: Cowl
This is a super easy, super quick cowl that works great with variegated yarns or even handspun. It takes one skein (approx. 200 yards) of aran weight, and is worked flat and seamed.
Knitting: Bonnet
I wanted a lovely, lacy bonnet that was fast to knit for my baby girl. The lace design is simple, and reminds me a bit of lilac flowers (the colour helps, too). The ties are i-cord, but if you wanted to skip that you could easily sew some ribbon to the edge instead. Enjoy!
Knitting: Scarf
This is a pattern I drafted based on the scarf pictured, which is a factory made store-bought scarf form Primark (UK). As it is no longer sold, and I get loads of questions about mine, I charted out the design and recorded the details, so that if you wanted to make your own, you can!
Knitting: Scarf
This was an exclusive pattern for the TFA Year In Colour Club, January 2013, featuring the exclusive colour ‘Boysenberry’ in Tanis Fiber Arts Silver Label.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a textured slouchy hat pattern designed for a great luxury skein of worsted weight and tonal varieties. I loved working with Orange Label, it’s SO amazing!!
Knitting: Scarf
This was an exclusive Pattern for the Tanis Fiber Arts Year in Colour Club, March 2012.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves, Cowl
This summery cowl features lots of dropped stitches and an open mesh stitch pattern. It’s easily customized for a big or small cowl.
Knitting: Cowl
This scarf features a completely reversible stitch pattern with a 4 row repeat, and is easy to memorize. I knitted this scarf in two pieces and seamed them together, and I really believe that the seams prevent the scarf from getting stretched out. The pattern is a fast knit- it took me less than a week from cast on to cast off.
