Knitting: Ankle Sock
The Tree Top Slipper Socks wrap your ankles in an extra layer of cozy DK yarn with a fold over cuff showing off cabled trees. DK socks are so fast to knit and cozy to wear! …but they tend not to fit in most shoes making them perfect for an at home slipper sock.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
A simple faux-cable adds a little something extra to this ribbed sock. The cascading curves created by the faux-cable remind me of the ‘S’ turns of a skier in fresh snow, resulting in the name Slopes Socks, which originally came from my Slopes Hat pattern.

Knitting: Cowl
The sister pattern to the Stitch Primer Beanie, this is an easier pattern that allows you to practice recognizing stitch patterns in the round without needing to do any decreases. The upper edge of the pattern uses a tubular bind off for a stretchier and cleaner edge, but you can of course substitute another bind off.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a simple hat that lets you experiment with numerous textures and stitches. The pattern includes written instructions, as well as pictures for how to identify by sight in the fabric what stitch you should be doing next for each of the stitch patterns.

The back is a shaped crisscross so that the bottom of the back is open, while the top of the back is a more classic tank top.
