The cowl uses a stitch variation of the faggot stitch. By “variation,” I mean a mistake on my part that turned out nicely ;)

It’s time for another stash busting baby blankie. This time, it’s a modified Feather and Fan stitch. You can find this stitch in A Treasury of Knitting Patterns by Barbara Walker and throughout the Internet. Basically, I eliminated the purl row. This makes for a reversible blanket, a sought-after feature in any blanket.

A coffee cup sleeve, cozy, cuddler… whatever you want to call it… it’s an easy way to clear your stash. It’ll make a great stocking stuffer and it’s eco-friendly. Gauge is not critical and this is an easy way to bust through your stash. :)
