This is also known as a helix pattern. Each colored strip is one long spiral from the bottom of the hat to the top.

Uses 3 colors of worsted weight yarn. Stitch pattern is charted only.

This hat uses approx. 110 yards for the main color, 30 yards for the 1st contrasting color and 5 yards for the 2nd contrasting color.

This pattern is a good way to learn the basics of double knitting in the round.

Bag is worked double stranded throughout.

These slippers were inspired by Nola’s slipper pattern (which can be found on Ravelry). I really wanted to a) make some for the kids in my life and b) knit in the round, even if I had to purl sometimes.
