Crochet: Cowl
This pattern is designed to be used with Berroco Dash using assigned pooling to create the puff stitches. If you use another assigned pooling yarn, you may get a different result. There is a video how to perform the puff stitches, so this pattern is appropriate for a relatively new crocheter.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap, Scarf
I have lived in many states in my life, but in Kentucky since 2008. It’s the longest I have lived in one place and I really love it. The upcoming Heartland Yarn Adventure Crawl (which I am a location on) had me thinking about that. There is ALSO another crawl at the exact same
Knitting: Scarf
This was inspired by a 2020 pandemic hike with my kids in Red River Gorge Kentucky. I wanted to design something for all the peaks and valleys of this year and also my favorite way of hiking this year’s stress away. I had some gorgeous tweed yarn from Rhapsody in Hue that seemed perfect for a nice unisex scarf representing the daytime colors of...
Knitting: Cowl
This pattern was written to create my favorite cowl shape, a large cowl that can be worn over either one or both shoulders. This version uses DK weight yarn and adds a spiral detail. When they wear a saddle, it is often adorned with lots of colorful tassels. My modern take was to make a poncho with some tassel fun and an ombre of speckles. The result, an easy poncho in a lovely fiber blend ...
Knitting: Poncho
I was inspired to write this pattern to recreate the star-filled sky I’ve been seeing every morning when walking my kids to the bus stop. (My kids’ bus comes EARLY!) I have dyed kits to easily create the white stars with short undyed sections. That together with the way I have shaped the garment and done the increases creates the subtle ombre o...
Knitting: Scarf
This was written for beginner knit class. It is easily modified to a dishcloth, when cotton yarn is used.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
You can use most any yarn and matching hook to make this shawl. Yardage varies with the desired size you wish to make.
Crochet: Hats - Other
OK. So I jumped on the viral bandwagon. I wrote this pattern for my messy bun hat class. Enjoy!
