Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Our 2020 Chicago Yarn Crawl exclusive pattern for Knit1, the Hansberry Hat is knit top-down using Judy’s Magic Cast On and comes with instructions for two different weights of yarn - fingering and DK. The fingering weight version is designed for a closer fit, while the DK version is meant to be a slouchier, more oversized look.

Inspired by AMC’s TURN: Washington’s Spies set in the seaside town of Setauket, Long Island, this rustic handmade fisherman’s hat is the perfect project to cast on during a marathon viewing of the Culper spy ring’s adventures during the Revolutionary War. (Here’s hoping 711 would approve!)

Knitting: Pullover
A yoke sweater with southwestern motives inspired from a vintage pattern. Stranded, intarsia colorwork is worked on the shoulders of the yoke, 3⁄4 length sleeves with K1 P1 ribbing and a slight boat neck.
