Knitting: Pullover
If substituting yarn on this garment, keep in mind you will have 3 layers of knit fabric once the piece is wrapped. Select something like a linen or hemp blend that will give you a lightweight fabric and will still produce a nice drape.

Knitting: Scarf
Leigh Radford demonstrates this scarf and cravat in Episode 108 of Knitting Daily TV; excerpted from her book AlterKnits Felt, copyright 2008 Stewart, Tabori & Chang.

Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Pattern description from Alterknits: “I have lost count of how many pairs of fingerless gloves I own, or have knitted for others. Getting bored with the patterns I had used before, I decided to dress these up by adding length to the cuff and then lacing it up with silk ribbon.”

Knitting: Lampshade
Pattern description from Alterknits: “Two fabulous papery Japanese yarns (one pure linen, the other a blend of Linen and nylon) inspired these translucent, quick-to-knit lanterns, which I’ve used to cover ordinary Christmas lights. They create a festive atmosphere wherever you place them.”
