This design is based on a simple, 4 stitch textured stitch pattern that creates a textured spiral pattern that reminds me of the bark of a mature Sweet Chestnut tree.

This simple crochet flower bunting uses small scraps of DK weight yarn, I used mercerised cotton that I had in my stash but any fibre of your choice could be used.

After looking for just the right fingerless mittens pattern for some beautiful merino/cashmere fingering weight yarn I decided to design my own.
