Knitting: Baby Blanket
Fun and (relatively) quick super bulky cabled project that is the perfect size for either baby or throw blanket.
Knitting: Pullover
A bottom up knit done almost seamlessly with garter stitch bottom border, cuffs and collar, half fisherman’s rib body and stockinette stitch sleeves. The sleeves are joined in a pseudo-set in style with decreases and a folded over collar for extra stretchiness and warmth.
Knitting: Pullover
I knit this as a one size sweater since it is so over-sized. I liked the shape of it so I wrote down my improvisation into this pattern. It’s a heavy gauge knit cabled sweater. Knitting: Cowl
Here’s a quick little cowl pattern I whipped up a while ago in 2012. I got this amazing yarn at one of the Lovelyarns’ Yarn parties and it was so squishy and delightful I had to make a cowl up with it. There is that saying about the month of March “In like a Lion, out like a lamb” and in Maryland this year I feel this March has really been living up to that. Snow one day, warm the next so naturally one needs a good knit hat.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Chunky winter hats are always a good idea! Knit up one of these in an afternoon and be off wearing it by the evening.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Nifty cabled hat with long fold over ribbed brim. Just enough cables to keep you interested but not so much that you can’t watch a movie while making it!
Knitting: Scarf
Double knit scarf with achors! You can possibly use less yardage depending on how long you want your scarf to be!
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is an easy lace pattern for those of you that want to give lace a shot but are not ready to commit to a stole or shawl yet!
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Warm nifty cabled hat! The shape of the cables reminded me of the way a boomerang is shaped. Yay!
