This pattern was created after I was looking for hats to purchase on the Pistil designs website. There was one in particular that had what looked like a woven stitch. I just dove right and and created the pattern.

This is a fast knitting project that gets you a hat in a few hours. This is a beautiful yarn that is soft and stretches, so this hat could be made and fit a toddler, young adult, or an adult. I have made many for all sizes and they fit perfectly.

I used a double strand of worsted weight yarn to create a faux bulky look. You can use any type of worsted, or even DK weight yarn. Note the gauge listed is measured using DOUBLE strands of yarn.

If adding a pom pom, you will need about 3 skeins of yarn.
