Tunisian Crochet creates a thick fabric which is nice for dishcloths and trivets for hot dishes to sit on when serving food. This lovely dishcloth uses the Arrowhead stitch for a little bit of visual interest. It is a great intermediate stitch for the beginning Tunisian crocheter.

Sherlock’s Bees is a Tunisian Crochet sampler pillow cover. The honeycomb stitch reminds me of busy honeybees and, being a librarian by day, I had to pull in the literary reference… leading to the name Sherlock’s Bees.

This pattern has been around for ages. Many grandmothers made these slippers for their grandkids. My friend, Janet, wrote out the pattern that her grandma taught her, and I typed it up for her.
