Crochet: Purse / Handbag
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
This motif would make a lovely addition to any Irish crochet lace project or as a free-standing motif. The harp is the national emblem of Ireland and is also the Guinness logo. This pattern uses Irish crochet lace techniques and is made in one-piece.
Crochet: Baby Blanket
This baby blanket is perfect for a beginner or a switch your brain off project, as there is just one row to repeat. It can be made to any size.
Crochet: Baby Blanket
The flower motif featured in this blanket was shown to me by a craft group called the Women of Finglas - thus the name. I developed and expanded the pattern to what it is now. I hope you enjoy making it even half as much as I did. Once you have the first flower mastered it is a very portable project, do it on the bus, while waiting at the garage…
Knitting: Baby Blanket
This baby blanket knits up very fast and has lovely detail on the edge. Any baby soft yarn can be used. The pattern is for a 36” x 36” blanket but details are given on making the blanket bigger or smaller. The main body of the blanket takes 14 oz of yarn and 1.0 oz, 1.1 oz and 1.3 oz of yarn respectively for the 3 edge colours.
Crochet: Throw
This pattern is written in American terminology. In this pattern each hexagon is worked separately so its a great project to bring on the go. Each hexagon is 4⅜“ or 11cm when complete although the gauge isn’t that important in this pattern. The blanket or throw can be worked to any size but measurements are given to make a bedspread for a singl...
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern is written for a scarf measuring 67”/170cm x 14”/36cm to fit a person of about 5’ 4”. The pattern can be easily adjusted to the width and length desired, as a general rule make the scarf approximately the same height as the person, when measured out laying flat on the floor, excluding the tassels.
Knitting: Pillow / Cushion
I have used both European and American crochet terms.
Crochet: Decorative - Other
I designed this pattern originally to hold flower broaches I knitted as Christmas gifts, then i realized they would make lovely pot-pourri holders. I also have put small perfume bottles or chocolates in them as gifts.
